Open To Public: All Hi-Power Matches and 300/600 Yard Practices are open to the public. See Event

Equipment: Any High Power rifle. NO 50 BMG's ALLOWED!
Pre-requisites: Participant must be qualified at a Wednesday 600 yard
practice by the range officer on duty.

The High Power Rifle Group conducts matches at 200 to 600 yards.
There are two basic types of competition with several classes so anyone may compete.

200 yard record round - slow fire/shot offhand 20 minute time limit.
2 sighters - 20 rounds slow fire offhand for record (score)

200 yard rapid fire round - standing to sitting position.
2 sighters in sitting position - 2 strings of 10 rounds.
Shooter starts this round standing, when the fire command is issued the shooter
takes a sitting position to begin the first of two timed strings. The shooter
has 60 seconds to fire 10 rounds. The shooter returns to the standing position
until the command to fire is issued for the second string.

300 yard rapid fire round - standing to prone position.
2 sighters in prone position - 2 strings of 10 rounds.
Shooter starts this round standing, when the fire command is issued the shooter
take a prone position to begin the first of two time strings. The shooter has

seconds to fire 10 rounds. The shooter returns to the standing position until
the command to fire is issued for the second string.

600 yard record round - slow fire/prone position 20 minute time limit.
2 sighters - 20 rounds slow fire prone position.

Total number of shots: 88 plus additional rounds for re-fires.
